Does anyone know if Isaac Asimov ever said what professional journals he used or subscribed to, and had delivered at home, so that he would have up to date information when he wanted to research his factual books and essays? Thanks. Today I found out that… Of course, you would ask this questions just after I got rid of all my Asimov books. . He was a professor of biochemistry at the Boston University (Medicine). This gave him access to the University's library, including journals in many fields of science. Since he was tenured, he retained this access even during his non-teaching periods (when he was writing full-time – late 1950s and early 1960s, for example). I vaguely remember some references about spending time in the library, looking things up. I do not remember him ever writing about getting journals at home.
