My boyfriend is Scottish and we are going to a Robert Burns dinner celebration. (Robert Burns was a famous poet from the 19th century). I guess at the celebration they read his work, eat haggis (which I will not be partaking of), and listen to Scottish music. My question is- what do I wear? I'm not Scottish so I don't have anything tartan. I was thinking to wear a nice dress which is black and white and any high boots and tights, and maybe a fabulous coat. Is that ok. I was so glad to find this — yeah. Its burns night. Youll have to do the Ceilidh. (pronounced kayleigh) youll have a great time those clothes sound fine
